EAN 2026: Technology Readiness in Neurological Patients Shows Three Distinct Profiles

At EAN 2026, Johanne Laursen Lykke, nurse and PhD student at Copenhagen University Hospital Rigshospitalet, presented a study on technology readiness in people with chronic neurological illness and injury, identifying three distinct profiles. The results highlight differences in emotional distress, social and professional support, and disease groups, while over 60% across all profiles report that they could imagine using a digital platform for self-management.
