Jan Trøst Jørgensen has worked with personalized pharmacotherapy, primarily within oncology, for the past 20 years. His focus has been on predictive biomarker testing for targeted drugs and the simultaneous development of diagnostics and medications.

In recent years, he has also worked as an editor and co-author on books and special editions of scientific journals that mainly have focused on companion diagnostics.
