Michael Ruben Teindl Laursen

Michael Ruben Teindl Laursen, MD, is a PhD Student at the Department of Oncology at the Copenhagen University Hospital - Herlev and Gentofte in Denmark. He has a strong interest in statistical analyses of time-to-event endpoints.

Currently, he is working with a large national cohort study called OLIGO-DK which is actively recruiting in several departments of oncology and metastatic surgery in Denmark. The study will evaluate patients with oligometastatic disease who are treated with local ablative therapies - across primary cancers, metastatic sites, local therapy modalities. The aim is to explore prognostic markers for these patients and evaluate new endpoints that may better be suited for these longitudinal patient trajectories.
