Monica Aas
Monica Aas, PhD, is an MRC-CDA Fellow and Clinical Psychologist at the Social, Genetic and Developmental Psychiatry Centre (SGDP) at Kings’ College London in UK. Her research interests include stress, childhood trauma, cognition, mental disorders, sMRI, and gene x environmental interactions.
Her current H-index is 36. She has research experience from the UK (King’s College London and Exeter University), USA (McLean Hospital, Harvard Medical School Affiliated Teaching Hospital), and Norway (University of Oslo, Oslo University Hospital and Vestre Viken Hospital Trust). She has been a PI on research grants (Young Investigator Award, NARSAD, Stress under Skin project funded by the South-Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority as well as her current MRC fellowship). She is currently supervising several PhD students and one postdoc. She has received more than ten awards for outstanding research in cognitive science.
