Puria Nabilou

Puria Nabilou graduated as a medical doctor from the University of Copenhagen in 2020 and has been employed at the Gastroenterology Unit, Hvidovre Hospital, Denmark, since 2019. During that time, he wrote his master’s thesis and worked as a sub-investigator on the department’s PhD project called CirKaFlow, which utilized MRI scans to investigate cardiovascular changes in patients with liver disease. He has presented the results from this study at conferences both domestically and internationally. He has had several positions within internal medicine, including cardiology and infectious medicine, and currently works as a resident physician and PhD student at the Gastroenterology Unit. His research focuses on complications of cirrhosis and non-invasive diagnosis of lifestyle-related liver diseases, utilizing advanced PET/MRI scanning techniques.
