Sylvie Negrier

Sylvie Négrier, MD, PhD, is a Professor of Medical Oncology at the University of Lyon I and the Centre Leon Bérard in Lyon, France.

Professor Négrier’s principal research interest is the use of immunotherapy and targeted therapies in the treatment of malignant melanoma and metastatic renal cell carcinoma.

She is a member of the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) and the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). Professor Négrier is particularly involved with Groupe d’Etude des Cancers Urologiques (GETUG), where she has acted as principal investigator for several multicentre trials investigating the use of immunotherapy and targeted therapies in renal carcinoma.

She has authored or co-authored more than 200 articles especially in renal cancer.
