The risk of chronic airflow obstruction are link to smoking and poverty – but not to air pollution exposure

In this MEDtalk, Christer Janson, professor, MD, PhD, FERS Akademiska Sjukhuset and Uppsala University, presents data from the international study ’Chronic airflow obstruction and ambient particulate air pollution’. The aim of the study was to investigate the ecological association between the prevalence of chronic airflow obstruction and AO, and levels of ambient air pollution exposure.
